About NTS / Corporate History
1992 - New Times (NTS) International Transportation Service Co Ltd. was founded in Beijing and was among the first logistics companies which were granted Class A & IATA licenses.
1993 - NTS became the No.1 international air cargo transportation company in Northern China and since then constantly remains as the top airfreight service provider in China.
2000 - Elected as a member of the Standing Council of China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA)
2003 - Elected as a member of the Standing Council of Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (SIQA). Elected as a member of the Standing Council of Beijing Customs Brokers Association (BCBA)
2004 - Established Domestic Logistics Department
2006 - Setup Tianjin Branch Office to integrate Beijing port and Tianjin port. Elected as a member of China Air Transport Association (CATA). Certified TAPA-A Compliant (SGS) in May. NTS restructured its corporate office function in Shanghai by merging the management team from JHJ to extend its international airfreight business and nationwide domestic distribution sector
2007 - In early 2007 NTS adapted OTM system of Oracle and started to implement it as the core engine for transportation optimization. Started to build up a company ERP system to apply the matrix management methodology. The company has established the fundamental network of the domestic logistics was established
2008 – NTS invited a new investor into its structure, the Starr International Cayman II Inc. to become one of the shareholders of the company.
2009 – NTS Merged with Tong Cheng Logistics, one of the biggest local LTL trucking company in China, and established full-fledged service portfolio covering both international forwarding and domestic logistics.
